Composer & Worship Leader - Alissa Thompson

Alissa Thompson is a singer, songwriter, composer and worship leader in Southern California. Alissa spent her formative years writing and performing with rock band Bizarre Gardening Accident, frequently playing in Hollywood and The Majestic Ventura Theater. Alissa has had the opportunity to open for major recording artists including Berlin, Men at Work, Nancy Sinatra, and Duncan Sheik.

Alissa studied classical guitar during the pursuit of her Bachelor's Degree in Music, and was accepted into the Media Composition program at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) where she is currently studying the art of creating music for film, tv and media applications. Her work blends her roots as a rock musician and songwriter with her formal classical training and a growing passion for storytelling through music.
